Rowan and Ava

These 2 little cuties sure are becoming fast friends...they took their lunch out to the little house, dumped it out, put it back in the bowl, and then ate it.  Yummy!!

I love that today Ava was holding her hand up the stairs, sitting with her on the toy car going for a ride together, and playing in the house together.  What cute girls they are.  They are going to be great friends and cousins!

Noah's First Day of Preschool

My Big 4 year old went to his first day of Preschool with Mrs. Lindley's class today!!

How handsome is he, right?

Of course Paisley had to get in some pics...
Rowan wanted to get involved in a pic as well...
Grandma Hemming bought both of these kids their new outfits for school, Paisley was so excited to match Noah on his first day.
 The infamous preschool path...
Running fast to get to class, he was so cute and excited for his first day!
A few of his little buddies.  It will be so fun for him to be in class with his friends.  Last year he went to a special ed preschool and was a peer model student, so it was not very academic, but I thought it was a great experience for him.  This year however, we're all about serious learning here!  AND he gets to do it with all of his very best friends.
Love these 2 boys so much.
Bracken's mom (whom he calls Jessica) now will be known as Mrs. Lindley.  He is going to love her.
 He found his chair...
Mrs. Lindley wastes NO time whatsoever.  He immediately sat down and she said, "ok time to start your names!"
And off to work he goes, good boy.  Love him.

Cute Bria gave Paisley some long layers and trimmed an inch off the bottom.  Paisley was so excited.

The other day I had a bunch of kids over playing.  I was the bad guy and they obviously had to shoot me dead.
It is so fun to have Rowan feel that she is a part of the "big kids" when she plays now.  Too cute.
I had such a fun day with my Grandma.  I spent the morning cleaning up her room a bit, and just hanging out watching an old BYU game.  She kept saying, "Oh that Bronco Mendenhall, I just love him!"  "Oh, there is Bronco!" and "Aloha!" because they were playing Hawaii.  Then I helped her get ready and we went to Lunch with Tricia and Kristen.  It is so good to see her feeling better, although she is still pretty fragile and has a hard time getting around, she made us laugh so many times with her witty, quirky remarks that she is so well known for.  I sure love and cherish these moments with her.
In this picture, instead of saying "Cheese!" she was saying, "BYU!"

The Blind Man...

He just looked so grown up and handsome before church last week, I had to take a picture of my sweet boy.
Today we were driving in the car and Noah asks...
"Mom, you know the people that awe blind like fo weal"
"Yes"
"Can Jesus, like umm, fo weal weally come down and make them see?"
"Well, he doesn't now, like when he lived on earth, but he could if he wanted to."
"Fo weal?"
"Yes"
"Hmmm."
Cute boy.
Rowan was really mad that I kept moving her out of the way to get a photo of just Noah...ahhh sorry baby. But you are pretty stinking cute even when you are crying.

Paisley's First Day of 1st Grade!!

I can't believe my oldest is going to 1st Grade!!!  How did she grow up so fast?  She was so excited to start her first day.  Daddy surprised us and came home with some donuts to wish Paisley good luck.
Paisley has grown into such a beautiful little girl.  I just love her so much.
Of course she had to pose...and make some silly faces too!

I had to get a back shot of her cute outfit and long curly hair while we were walking to the bus stop.
Beck was at the bus stop waiting when we go there.  She was so glad to finally have a buddy to ride the bus with this year.  She and Beck are both in Mrs. Caywood's class so they are very excited!
Beck was very hesitant to put his arm around Paisley at my request...I think Paisley has a very convenient crush now, lol.
I wanted to be sad as she ran onto the bus, but I couldn't because she was just so happy and excited!

Then as it drove away it really hit me...all day long she is gone.  ALL DAY!!  From 9 to almost 4!  Today was her third day and I have really missed her.  I will treasure our afternoons together more now then ever!

Camping...the last weekend of Summer!

We took a quick trip up AF canyon to Timpanooke Campground last weekend trying to soak up every last minute of summer.  I'm going to be honest...not the best camping trip ever, but we made the best of it.  Lets just say it's hard to have a 1yr. old and camp.  Then Noah was throwing up the next day so we left early.  But the evening was fun, we took a little hike around the campground, had tin foil dinners, smores, and talked around the fire until late.

Rowan was running around everywhere having the time of her life...soooo dirty!!

Hey Rowan, where did you go?
Waiting for Justin and Bria to get there...

Rowan couldn't get enough of this log!  She was cracking me up.
 Ok mom...I've about had enough...

How handsome is my not so little brother?  Love him.

I think we will wait until Rowan is 3 to go camping again...or get a sitter next time!  But there were still lots of fun memories made!
