Happy Birthday Little RoRo!!

I could kiss those dimples and never stop smiling into those big blue eyes!!  I just keep telling myself, enjoy every moment because after 2 kids already, I know all too well how fast she will grow up.  I can not believe my toothless little screamer is now 1!

I have looked forward to her party all month long!  I kept thinking and planning and the closer it got to her big day the more excited I got for it!  In my fantasy world I would party plan all day long!!  So much fun!
The "Ice Cream" cake.  This was actually pretty easy to do, which was nice and took the pressure off a little bit.
 The Ice Cream/Goodie Bar...

She loved opening her presents.  She got so many cute new clothes and some fun new toys.  She is lucky to have so many people who love her shower her with presents!!

She wasn't sure what to do at first...
So she picked off the cherry off the top, and ooh did she love it!
Then with a little help from mom, she started to dive into the cake.  She has never had anything sweeter then a graham cracker, so I was shocked when she didn't go crazy over the chocolate.  Instead, she took her time, enjoying every bite until I think she made her self sick.  She sure was cute sitting there in her birthday chair enjoying her cake.
The cousins were all so cute and loving to her.

Ella walked out with the largest ice cream sundae I have ever seen, and she knew just how to make it...a little of everything!  It was hilarious...I had to take a pic of her enjoying her dessert.

She was so happy to sit in her chair, clapping her hands, and getting ready for...the cake!!!

Bria and I wore matching pants, and Shanna and I wore matching scarfs...we must all have good taste. :)
Justin and Bria were laughing so hard because she kept growling in between gulps of her milk.  I think she gave herself a bit of a tummy ache from all the cake, so it was straight to bed after her bottle for her.  It had been quite an exhausting but exciting day for her!
Paisley sure loves her aunt Shanna.  We all do.

My favorite pic that aunt Shanna took with her phone.  Ohh I love it!
The things I love most at 1 are:
The excitement in her eyes when I walk into the room, the way she bounces up and down on her knees when she is happy about something, the way her little fingers form into signs such as more, eat, milk, how she waves hi and bye, how she will eat anything I put in front of her, her chubby thighs, her kisses, oh how I love her kisses.  I love how when she is tired and I am about to put her in her crib, she will lean her head on my shoulder and snuggle me for a good 5-10 seconds before reaching for bed.  I love how my 2 older kiddos love and dote on her and she loves them sooo much!!  She claps and dances when she hears a song or any kind of music, and the cheesy smiles never end.  Thanks for being a great baby Rowan, we love you very much!  Happy Birthday!!

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter.  We spent Saturday at Grandma and Grandpa Hemming's for the big annual Easter Egg Hunt!  It was a beautiful day, and we all enjoyed spending some time out in the sun shine!  This year Grandma went all out and even hid toys in some of those eggs!  The kids we ecstatic!

 Rowan was loving the outdoors!
 Let the hunt begin!

They are just a little bit the same...
 I sure love this picture.

All 10 of the Hemming children here...what a great bunch of kids!

Grandma really is so great.  On top of all that work for the big hunt, she gets each kid an outfit and small gift after the hunt each year.  She is so thoughtful and amazing to my kids.  She is loved by all.
Then the Easter Bunny came to our house!!  He hid those silly baskets in the dryer, the oven, and behind the couch!
The Easter bunny must have been in a hurry this year while visiting us because he didn't set up Noah's bike, so daddy took care of it before the kids woke up!
Not sure why the Easter Bunny was so generous this year, it felt a bit like Christmas...lucky kids.
Easter Sunday was great.  We went to Church of course, then back over the the In laws for the big feast..My favorite...the resurrection rolls!!!  I think I ate ummm...4.
Wonderful Easter!  I am grateful for this holiday to remember the Resurrection of our Savior, and all that comes with it.  Such a great holiday and time of year.

Bring on the Hunts...

We had a wonderful conference weekend while my parents were in town.  We got sitters and all went out to dinner.  Mom, Shanna, and I got to go out to lunch and do some shopping, then Mom and Bria came down on Saturday (Shanna got sick) and we had an Easter Egg Hunt, died some eggs, and had a fun night with the kids.  On Sunday everyone joined us for a yummy dinner of Coconut Curry Chicken and Cinnamon Roll Cake.  It was so much fun to be together and enjoy having my parents with us!  We miss them already. :(

It was a bit cold and windy, but the kids didn't seem to mind it too much.

 Looking through all the goods...
