Hemming St. George Getaway...

We did lots of swimming at the house, the kids couldn't get enough of it!

We visited Alexis's cousin Tia (who is a sister Missionary at the Temple Visitor's Center), and took a tour.  It had been a while since I had done it, it was fun to do with the kids...

Rowan was all smiles...except for in the picture above...hehe.

We went to Zions, hiked the Narrows, and ate at a great little Mexican Restaurant there.  Lots of fun!
Have I mentioned before that Noah LOVES his sunglasses?  He wears them non stop, it is hilarious.  I even caught him sleeping with them on a few times this trip.  He is a funny kid.

This arch in the rock behind my cute boys was so pretty!

 The squirrels were extra friendly!

We saw "Grease" at Tuacahn.  It was fabulous!  Love love loved it!

It was such a great trip!  I hope we can repeat it next year!

Rowan at 5 Months...

At 5 months you: slobber down every shirt until it is soaking wet, ohh and ahh in your crib every morning when you wake up, smile whenever your sister or brother walk into the room or give you any sort of attention, weigh 16 lbs. which makes you the biggest Hemming baby yet, LOVE your baths, bumbo, and play jungle gym, you sleep through the night so good for mommy, and you are the smiliest-cutest-biggest dimple sweet heart ever!!  As you can tell, your mommy loves you lots!

Happy Birthday...

To my amazing Father.  He turned a whopping 55 years young on the 7th.  We are happy we got to celebrate it all together, even if it was just one short day together!
 Handsome grump-aw!

The boys were glued to the TV all night watching the game...too bad for the Utes...
Paisley of course put on a show with kimball...well about 10 shows.
 Papa Johns was invited...ummm
Grandma got her baby fix...for now.

Noah goes to Preschool...

Noah started Preschool today.  Of course Paisley wanted to get some pictures taken too...after all, she said, it is her SECOND day, and that means she needs some SECOND day pictures...
This is what I get when I ask Noah to smile, it is impossible!
Back packs on and all ready to go!

There is the smile that I LOVE!
Noah is doing preschool at Lehi Elementary with Mrs. Kerri.  I LOVE HER!!  He is with the special needs preschool kids, and will act as one of the peer model students.  Which means he has to have exceptional behavior, and I have no doubt he will be great!  Since he has a late birthday and will get 3 years of preschool, Daddy decided to set this up for him this year, and do something different then he will when he goes to Mrs. Lindley's class next year.  He knew Mrs. Kerri and really wanted Noah to have some experience with the special needs kids that Daddy works with every day.  I think he is going to love learning in a class room setting, playing on the play ground, and socializing with new friends.  For some reason, this was not hard for me at all, not like with Paisley.  Maybe because it's just a few hours a week...probably.  But he sure was excited and had a great first day.  The first thing he told me when I picked him up was that he got "smashenos" and "nanas" (marshmallows and bananas) and got to play on the big play ground.  Oh Noah, you are growing up so fast!

Paisley Starts Kindergarten...

As you can tell she was more then happy to pose for some shots before school...

Then we had to get some with her new back pack on...
Lets go MOM!!!  She was so excited she could not get to school early enough!
In front of the school with her best buddy JayLynn...

As she walked through the doors and lined up with her class I watched through the window and couldn't hold back my emotions as hard as I tried.  This was my baby...how did she grow up so fast?  I cried all the way to Walmart, then composed myself.  Then I saw a blonde little girl about 2 years old, shopping with her mom and all I could think of was was what seemed like yesterday, that was Paisley and I! The tears started again.  Gosh it was hard for me.  I didn't think it would be that hard.
Then the bus FINALLY came to bring her home.  I was so excited to see her and hear all about her day.
She got off with a sad face and my heart dropped.  She had a fever of 102, and was barely able to walk home she was so miserable.  Poor girl.

Gratefully it was just a 24 hour bug and she was good to go the next day.  She had a great second day.  Her teacher is Ms. Peterson, and we love her already!  She came home with such cute homework and it was so fun to sit and do it together.  She laughed so hard when daddy pretended to put on lip stick and kiss the paper like mommy had to do.  I can't wait to hear about her every day adventures that she will have in kindergarten!
