Disney Land!!

This was a last minute, too good of a deal to pass up trip.  We took the kids around Grandma and Grandpa Hemming's block for a little trick or treating before hoping on a plane to the happiest place on earth, Disney Land.  What a fun time we had!  And such great company too with the Ash Family.  Love love love them.

Jaclynn and I were cracking up at these girls, requesting service on the plane all by themselves, chips and sprite.  So funny.
The first thing we did was check out the new cars land.  I'm not gonna lie, it was a bit disappointing, but the kids loved it so that's all that mattered.  Here we are on Luigi's Tire Ride.

FINALLY, I got me a turkey leg.  After years of coming here, I never have bought one and I always said I wanted to.  Wow, not sure why I waited so long, we all chowed down on them during the World of Colors show.  Oh, and in case you were wondering, Michael Googled it, they are a whooping 1200 calories for one leg.

Up at 6 every morning and short 1/2 hr. naps = one TIRED little girl.  She was pretty good considering all of her lack of sleep.  She loved all the rides she could go, on and would get so excited flinging her arms in the air and dancing to the music.  Love this little hurricane.

Still a few Halloween treats left up for us to enjoy.  One things my kids didn't enjoy...Space Mountain.  SOOO scary!!!  Between the blood curling screams and the fiery skeletons in your face, that ride was completely traumatizing for my kids.  Not a fan of the Halloween Spooky version. :(  Eventually they calmed down after a nice churro.

Paisley and Noah loved the Haunted Mansion, with all the Nightmare Before Christmas themes.

Downtown Disney Lego Store.  Noah could have spent hours here.

Great little friends to share joy in all the rides together.

We went 2 times in a row, then Jaclynn took the girls like...8 more times on Splash Mountain on the last night there.  They couldn't get enough of it.

Hollywood Tower of Terror...4 times in a row.  My personal favorite.
Never forget the nursing mother with her 5 year old, laying down taking up the whole bench to get a snack, Noah's gangster pants I donated to the hotel, perfect family of 10 from Logan on Tower of Terror with us, chowing down on turkey legs, Jaclynn stealing my customer of the day free ice cream, Ryan spotting out not one but TWO famous people, Christian Bale and Alex Smith, horrified kids after Space Mountain, running to our favorite rides with no lines, the fun goes on and on...Can't wait to go again!!

Family fun with EVERYONE all together!

I can't express enough how fulfilling this weekend was for me.  Nothing but bliss and wonderful memories were created, and I will cherish them forever.  The best part, we got to spend the whole weekend with our sweet little AnnDee Mae!  Oh how my heart has ached to spend time with her since Missy's passing.  She helps fill the void more then anyone else can.  We wanted to have a kid fun filled time while she was here, so it was quite packed with great times.  Friday night after she got here we drove up to spend the evening at Shanna and Colemans house.  We had pizza, did some Halloween Crafts that aunt Shanna put together (which was a huge hit with the kids), talked, played, watched a movie...it was a great night.  The kids all had a big sleep over and were so excited to all be together.

Then on Saturday we went out to lunch, went to my neighborhood Trunk or Treat, took a ride on the annual traditional "Stringtown Railroad", then came back home for a big Chili dinner, football, and more games and playing.

My beautiful girls...
Pretty tough guys here if you ask me...

On our way to the "Trunk or Treat!"
Rowan was so stinking cute.  Every time someone put a candy in her bag she immediately took it out and wanted to eat it, wrapper and all.  But she was loving that she could roam from car to car and get candy.  Grandma was a good helper and showed her how it was done.

Taking a leisurely walk home while enjoying her candy...I almost got too ahead of myself and about left her behind.
All aboard the Nightmare Express!  Love this place.  These are some amazing people who put this together every year.  I loved the new addition of the fire breathing dragon.

Long lines, but still having fun.

We met Captain Jack Sparrow!  He even invited us aboard his ship for a picture.

 Finally, all ready to go!
 Our little zombies...

On Sunday, we made the traditional Popeye Pancakes, and played it lazy until our 1pm church time.  Then it sadly was time to say goodbye to AnnDee.  We had hoped that we could take her to her mommy's grave site, but her ride home came earlier then planned and there just wasn't enough time.  Next time for sure.  Here she is in her pretty Sunday dress.

After AnnDee left we drove to Bountiful for a little family party, then visited Missy.  It was so hard to put AnnDee's picture that she had drawn for her Mommy on her headstone with out breaking down.  It was a special moment though, one that I wish we could have shared with AnnDee, but I suppose there is a right time that will come sooner or later for that to happen.
Playing for a few minutes in the parking lot before it was time for bed.
On to the next...Paisley had her little Halloween Parade, it was cute.  Rowan was such a joy while we waited, screaming and running away from us.
 Hello!
