Family Pictures 2013

My friend Debbie took our family pictures again, and she did a great job!  I had to search and search to find these poppies up in Alpine, but we finally found the Lambert House, and I was really looking forward to family pictures here while all the poppies were in full bloom.  Of course, my kids got a bit difficult, and it was really fun trying to get them all to smile at the same time...but we will take what we can get out of them!  Cant choose which family shot to enlarge...thanks again to Debbie who took time out of her busy schedule to take these for us and then not let us pay her...again!!!  You are amazing!

Noah's Last Game...

It was a fun season of soccer for Noah.  Every game got warmer and warmer, and I loved sitting and cheering him on!  We got into a habbit of telling Paisley we would pay her $1 if she took Rowan over to the playground and kept her happy for the whole hour while we watched Noah play.  She happily did it, and everyone was happy.  Just GREAT.

They all ran through the sign after the game, they thought it was way cool.

Sundays at Grandmas...

The kids have been very into putting on "shows" for us, every Sunday at our family get togethers.  Here is a few pics of this last Sunday's performance makeup/costume.

End of the school year craziness!!!

Alpine is so beautiful right now!  We took a family hike up in these trails to try and find the Lambert Home.  It is remnants of a summer home built over 100 years ago, and they planted poppies all around the house.  The home barley exists anymore, but the poppeis are in full bloom this time of year.  It took us forever, but we finally found it.  It was really neat.  And way fun for the kids!

There was a woodpecker in the tree.

Lunch date with Grandma at In and Out Burger on Memorial Day after stopping to visit Missy.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!  Oh man, these kids were excited!  I am so grateful for great cousins, who came and picked up Paisley every day from school, and all walked together home.  She is very lucky to have them.  Clayton was rocking Grandmas wig and hat out of the dress up box for his last day entertainment.  Awesome kids they are!

We just threw a little baby shower for Alexis, she is due in July, and we are so excited for another little member of the family to arrive!  They are going to name him Rockwell, hence the theme we came up with "Boys Rock!"  LeeAnn of course made her an amazing quilt, and she got lots of cute things.  It was a fun night, and I couldn't be happier for her and Jordan!

And yet another performance of Paisleys, that we went to this last weekend.  She had her big singing show at UVU.  She was so excited for it, and did such a cute job!  She got a little solo part on the song "Under the Sea" and she sang her little heart out!  I was so proud of her, and she loved every minute of being on that stage performing!

Let summer begin!!!!

Spring is here!!

The kids love to walk to church.  It is so nice, we all decided to walk.
Noah started soccer this spring.  He is playing with his buddies from our old neighborhood, and is loving every minute of it.  It is fun to see him have something that is all about him.  He loves to go ourside with Daddy and practice kicking it around.  And I have seen a big improvement when it is time to eat his vegetables.  If you tell him it will make him fast and stong for soccer, he will eat anything!

 Look at THAT morning hair?!!

I do fix her hair though sometimes, and she got bangs.  Her hair looks really pretty here too.  She reminds me so much of my moms side of the family with her big blue eyes and bangs.  Love it!

While our husbands went fishing up to Flaming Gourge, the kids and I had a sleepover at the Grobergs.  It was a blast.  I love that we still are such good friends, and that our kids are now friends too!

Ryan and I started the "Insanity" work outs.  It makes us sweat...alot.
Noah and Rowan want to play outside every minute, now that it is a bit warmer.  Grandma's back yard it so much fun!
We went with the Shipleys to a Peter Breinholt concert at Thanksgiving Pointe.  It was so much fun.  Ruby was great entertainment with her purse full of goodies for Rowan to steal away, and the bigger kids rolled and rolled and rolled down the hills for hours.  Love me some ships time.

What a good sport she is!  Love my friend Jess.

Paisley had a little spring competition, and she rocked it!  She sure is getting to be a strong little tumbler.  Soon she will have her backhandspring, it's so crazy to think about!!  She had alot of fun doing this, and got an awesome medal!

Ryan surprised me for mothers day, and stole me away on Saturday night up to Park City.  I think we have both been pretty desperate for some time away from our crazy routines.  It was great to spend some time alone together shopping, eating, and sleeping in!!  Then we came home the next day to be with our kids on Mothers Day.  Thank goodness, grandma was such a sport and watched them for us!  We are so lucky to have her!

Noah and my conversation at lunch today, while making him a peanut butter and honey sandwich:
Noah-Mom, how do you say one in spanish?
Me-Uno.
Noah-No ONE!
Me-Like you won the game?
Noah-NOOO!!  Like you wun weally weally fast with your legs!
Me-Ohhh RUN!!! Correr.
He makes me smile.
The year anniversary of Melissa's passing came this last May 18th.  It was a really hard day for me.  For my whole family actually.  The kids (daddy) bought me these flowers.  It was so sweet.

Justin, Bira, Coleman and the kids, and our family all went and visited Missy.  It was hard, but gratefully the kids were all around, and it helped me keep it together.  We went and ate at Pizza Pie Cafe after, and made ourselves sick with too much oreo pizza.

Paisley had her end of the year gymnastics show.  Rowan wished so bad the whole time she could get out there with sissy and do "nastics" with her.  One day Rowan, one day.
Paisley and her fabulous teacher, Crystal.  Paisley loves her so much.

Day at the farm!!!  We will have to do this many more times this summer.  I have never seen Rowan so happy as she was to be around these farm animals.  It was a blast.  Rowan keeps saying, "Mom, faam" "Come on, lets go!" as she proceeds to take my hand so we can go to the farm again.  It was a great fun day with all the little cousins!
