Go Utes!

The whole family got decked out for the big rivalry game.
Grandma was nice enough to watch the kids for us and let them stay overnight so we could go to the game.
Then after dropping the kids off, we picked up Shanna and Coleman for some scrumptious dinner at the pie!  I hadn't eaten there for a really long time, and it was DEEE-lish!
I had to take a pic of the restaurant, so much red everywhere.  It was pretty sweet.

Talk about a dedicated fan...look at that Jeep!

The final score...another victory for the Utes against the Cougs!  It made for a very fun night.

That is one happy husband.

Diamond Fork Hot Springs

Ryan was up at Flaming Gorge with his Dad fishing over Labor Day, so the kids and I joined Kristen, Garth and Clayton on a little hike up to some hot springs.  It was a bit long for the kids, but they were troopers and stuck it out.  It was a very beautiful day, and gorgeous hike!

Kristen with the kids...love her.
Garth was so great to hold Rowan on his back the whole time.  She is not the lightest.

 Finally...we arrived!
They were VERY hot that day, and you had to be careful where you stepped at some parts, but the kids were in HEAVEN!
They climbed up to this hole in the rock where fresh spring water was coming down.  Probably their favorite thing about this day.

We ended the day with a few Sonic treats.  This is a hike we will repeat for sure!  Such a fun day, next time we will take Daddy too!

Rowan and Ava

These 2 little cuties sure are becoming fast friends...they took their lunch out to the little house, dumped it out, put it back in the bowl, and then ate it.  Yummy!!

I love that today Ava was holding her hand up the stairs, sitting with her on the toy car going for a ride together, and playing in the house together.  What cute girls they are.  They are going to be great friends and cousins!

Noah's First Day of Preschool

My Big 4 year old went to his first day of Preschool with Mrs. Lindley's class today!!

How handsome is he, right?

Of course Paisley had to get in some pics...
Rowan wanted to get involved in a pic as well...
Grandma Hemming bought both of these kids their new outfits for school, Paisley was so excited to match Noah on his first day.
 The infamous preschool path...
Running fast to get to class, he was so cute and excited for his first day!
A few of his little buddies.  It will be so fun for him to be in class with his friends.  Last year he went to a special ed preschool and was a peer model student, so it was not very academic, but I thought it was a great experience for him.  This year however, we're all about serious learning here!  AND he gets to do it with all of his very best friends.
Love these 2 boys so much.
Bracken's mom (whom he calls Jessica) now will be known as Mrs. Lindley.  He is going to love her.
 He found his chair...
Mrs. Lindley wastes NO time whatsoever.  He immediately sat down and she said, "ok time to start your names!"
And off to work he goes, good boy.  Love him.

Cute Bria gave Paisley some long layers and trimmed an inch off the bottom.  Paisley was so excited.

The other day I had a bunch of kids over playing.  I was the bad guy and they obviously had to shoot me dead.
It is so fun to have Rowan feel that she is a part of the "big kids" when she plays now.  Too cute.
I had such a fun day with my Grandma.  I spent the morning cleaning up her room a bit, and just hanging out watching an old BYU game.  She kept saying, "Oh that Bronco Mendenhall, I just love him!"  "Oh, there is Bronco!" and "Aloha!" because they were playing Hawaii.  Then I helped her get ready and we went to Lunch with Tricia and Kristen.  It is so good to see her feeling better, although she is still pretty fragile and has a hard time getting around, she made us laugh so many times with her witty, quirky remarks that she is so well known for.  I sure love and cherish these moments with her.
In this picture, instead of saying "Cheese!" she was saying, "BYU!"
