What a great day this was! It was a beautiful spring sabbath, and we had lots of fun in store for our sweet little 2 year old! We had Stake Conference, so it was a long sacrament, Ryan took her for a walk to the cemetary during part of it, haha. She was not loving sitting there for even 5 minutes. But we got through it, she had a nice long nap, and woke up happy and ready to party!
There were 3 favorite things from this day, 1st: she LOVED her balloons. She played and played and played with them. Sometimes, it's the simple things in life that bring the most joy!
Her 2nd favorite thing: Her new Dora Power Wheels! She rode this thing up and down the side walk until the battery died. I knew she would love it, but I think she loved it more then I even thought. What fun!
She was even really good at sharing and let Tanner go for a nice ride.
And her 3rd favorite part of the day: Her cake. She kept saying, "Roro, cake! Roro, cake!"
Ummm...Roro's cake!
This is one of my favorite pictures from the day. It just shows her little mischevious smile, and depicts her personality so well. Love it!
Oh how I am obsessed with her. She has the cutes little dimples, biggest blue eyes, and cheesy smile you will ever see! She is demanding, knows exactly what she wants, stubborn, and very independant, but I look at these pictures and it makes me smile. She really does melt my heart. She can be so hard at times, and really knows how to test my patients, but man I love her, and cant get enough of her. She is sooo smart! She can count to 12, talks so good in full sentances usually starting with, "No I dont like that..." or "No, I don't want that..." She is really starting to love princess necklaces and dresess. She got some princess shoes from Grandma Carey, and walks around in them all day long saying, "PRETTY!" She makes the cutest little faces while singing her nursery songs, and gets so excited about music. She could play out on the swings and slide all day long...if only the weather could get warmer!! This morning, I found her on top of my bathroom sink. They are pretty high couter tops, and I thought she must have gotten up from the toilet as there was no stool near by. So I put her down, and watched as she proceeded in 5 seconds to climb up the counter with no help but the grooves of the drawers (which are minimal) and her own strength. She is a crazy one for sure! Happy Birthday Rowan, you are very loved by the whole family!
