The Kids...

Paisley Jane, 5 years 5 mos. old
*Loves School
*Loves to "Play School", as you can see in this picture.  Ryan brought home this purple butcher paper, and Paisley couldn't contain her excitement, she immediately asked, Daddy can I PLEEASE have that for my teacher board?!!  She then proceeded to add her own personal touches to it.  Alphabet Sight words, pictures, class rules, students names, etc. etc.  She plays with this daily.  Notice her "Teacher book" i.e clip board, and pointer stick, just like Ms. Petersens!
Paisley is my little helper.  She holds Rowans bottle and feeds her if I am busy, she runs up and down stairs to get me things, she sets the table, helps unload the dishwasher, she is even getting to be a great duster!  Last Saturday we were doing some chores, and I asked her to dust hers and Rowans rooms.  She did that while I was cleaning their bathroom, after a few minutes I stopped to check and see how her dusting was going.  She had finished and had started making Noah's bed.  Now, if you are an owner of bunk beds you might understand why she has never made a bed before...they are hard to make!  But she just saw that needed to be done and started doing it, she did a pretty good 5 year old job too!  I was impressed.  Paisley loves to read and surprises me at how well she can actually do it!  I will pick off any book on her shelf, and with my help I sit and watch her read it.  It is so fun to see her learning and growing.  She continues to keep busy with Dance 2 days a week, and Tumbling 2 days a week.  She absolutely loves them both, and was so excited last week to finally get her back walk over!  She is beautiful inside and out.
Noah Drake, 3 years 4 mos. old.
I had to pull out the camera when he walked up to me looking like this the other day,  a little bit of each superhero all rolled into one!  Superman cape, Captain America shield, Spider Man glove, and Iron Man mask.  This is Noah through and through.  His little mind revolves around the fantasies of flying, shooting lasers or webs, saving the day, and anything else a Superhero might do.  He looks up to his older sister and wants to do whatever she is doing (if it's not too girly of course!), and loves to kiss and talk sweet to his baby sister.  He is an early riser, and joins me in bed daily for some cereal in a baggy while watching "Super Why", giving me a chance to lay in bed for a few more minutes.  He is still very cautious, and is a lot of tough talk, but really is so sweet and tender.  A funny story about Noah that I never wrote down and wanted to, happened when I first brought Rowan home from the hospital.  We were in the car in the hospital parking lot, and both kids were huddled around her.  Paisley asked, Mom do you think she will like it when I sing "Rock a Bye Baby" to her?  I responded yes.  Then Noah pipes up, "Mom, do you think Rowan will like it when I sing, Who Let the Dogs out whoo whoo whoo whoo!"  I laughed, and responded Yes.
Noah is also learning a lot in Preschool.  More then I realize.  The other night at dinner, Ryan was asking Paisley if she said the Pledge of Allegiance at school every day and if she could recite it for us.  She started saying it, and got stuck after the part, "One Nation under God".  Then out of no where, Noah pipes up in his proudest voice, "With libety an justice fo all!"  We all were so shocked that he also knew this, and all we could do was laugh, it was sooo funny!  I love my boy.
 Rowan Lorraine, 6 months old.
Yup, she is sitting up!  Hooray!
Where do I begin with her?  She is the light in my life, she makes me smile at least 1000 times a day, she is happy, extremely chubby, makes loud grunting and yelling noises to let us all know how she feels.  Shows off her dimples all day long, and is so cute I just can't stop kissing her non existent neck.
I look forward to sometime after 8 each morning when I hear the coos coming from her crib.  There is nothing quite like leaning over to her crib to be greeted with the biggest smiles, followed by squeaks and flinging of arms and legs from such excitement to see me.  If you can't tell, I love her.  And I am soaking in EVERY SINGLE moment I can, because before I know it she will be all grown up.

I dont know what is more impressive the amazing professional teacher chart or the fact that every pic of your carpet has fresh vacuum lines. Can you and paisley come over and do both for me. I need some Hemming time. Plus I want to stick my little finger into rowans dimples. What is your name? where do you live? How many kids do you have.??????
